EFY and other updates

Hello? Hello? Hello, this is Tianna reporting in for the week. I have been to girls camp and had a very good time! I'm having fun with my brother, who is home from his mission on honorable release for medical purposes, and he wants to get back out as soon as he can. I audition for the musical "Music Man" and I hope to make it in! It'd be really fun to do another musical! I see that Abbey has not reported the AMAZING, FABULOUS, spiritual, fun, dacing...(the list goes on) time we had at EFY together a couple of weeks ago. We made lots of new friends, got spiritually filled plus some ;) We mormonized Disney songs for the variety show try outs--we did not make it, but we had a whole lot of fun giving Kevin mixed messages about kissing Rachel =P (it was part of out skit, don't worry, we're not that crazy!! :) I got to participate in the dance off because a guy in our company does ballroom! Both of us now have friends in California, Pennsylvania, and Oregon, not to mention across Utah. Oh, know what's weird? Our session directors live two blocks away from Abbey and used to be in her ward! Small world, huh? So now we're going to give them cookies. :)
I leave for youth conference early on Tues and get back late on Wed, we're going to Temple Square!

Well, that's all for now, folks! Keep me updated, too!!!

Inky

My doggies!!!

I have FINALLY got some pictures of my two dogs. In the first picture, Issie ( my 7 year old sister) is in the background. Just for those who have not met my family yet. :)

There they are. My two doggies. Sophie is the large one and Daisie (the new one) is the smaller one. It makes people laugh when they see them together because of the HUGE size difference. :)

This is Sophie. She is my puppy, while Daisie is the family dog. :) Sophie weighs about 90 lbs and is about 4 feet tall. She has a solemn expression most of the time... Why, you ask? I don't know.

This is Daisie. She just turned 2 and she weighs about 10 lbs, is about 10 inches tall and is really cute.

>:) The evil smiley face >:)

Soooo, I had a bit of an adventure today:

Well, I was left at home again by myself by my overly busy mom and my siblings were gone every which way too. So, I kind of went a bit crazy >:) I took sharpies to the eggs and drew and wrote on them. But I didn't stop there, I drew a BIG happy face on the milk carton. Then I made a sign and stuck it to a shelf, it said:

Hi there! I bet you're wondering what else I colored on in your fridge...

Yeah, it was funny when Alyvia came home and saw it. We both just laughed! And then my mom gave me a really funny look when she came home and saw the happy milk, the evil smiley face sign and I told her to look at the eggs in the cartons. Heehee, it was fun! I told her "That's what you get for leaving me alone!" I took some pictures:

In the beginning there were sharpies and two egg cartons...

A sideways look at a funny evil grin (It looks like I'm a pirate!)

drawing...

Some the best ones (I suggest you get a closer look)

That is the happy milk I mentioned...(he's saying "Hi there!")

This is the sign...(and the evil eyebrows are missing from the picture)

And lastly, the ominous and elusive worker of fridge craziness...
BUAHAHAHAHA!

Also...

Okay, so there's this blog my friend and I started a couple years ago.  The whole idea was to discuss things that we thought were important.  After I went to Paradigm, the idea didn't seem as important anymore because adults and others actually listened to what we had to say, but now that we're kind of all splitting off a bit, I think it'd be good to fire this blog back up.  If you ever have any ideas that you want to talk about, post about it.  I'm giving you all author rights.  The site is http://www.tootsierevolution.blogspot.com/.  <3 ya!

BAH!

BAH! By the way, my Grandma's computer is refusing to let me comment for some DUMB reason.  So I AM NOT IGNORING YOU ALL!!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU, KIMBERLY, with your STADIUM OF FIRE AWESOMENESS!!!  And for you, Leigh, with your new friend for Sophie!  And Tianna, I AM SOO HAPPY YOU WENT ON YOUR FIRST DATE!!!!  And hope I can come to an occasional Nevermind meeting.  ERICA!!! I love you.  I LOVE YOU ALL!!! AND AM NOT IGNORING YOU!!! I PROMISE!!!
*sob*

DRUMROLL!!!

Ahem.  ABBEY'S FAMILY IS FINALLY GETTING DOGS!!! YAY!!! They are two little Shitzus and are ADORABLE.  Their names are Daisy and Dalia (LEIGH WE WILL MATCH!! :) <3) and I am SOOO excited!  So we must all have a party at my house and see the little cuties.
<3 Abbey

Nevermind

I have joined a writing group called "Nevermind". If you girls know Clellie, she's the one who started it. If you are interested in joining to have motivation to write and stuff, we would love more people! I'm excited because I am now going to write and once a week I have somewhere fun to go! My posts are pretty short but that's what I'm up to! :D

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!!!

As some of you know... I have been looking for a friend for Sophie. Last night at Young Womens, James came running up to me and declared (P.S were having a camp kick-party in a neighbors backyard) "LEIGH!!!! WE MIGHT BE GETTING DAISIE TONIGHT." I was, like, "What? Who on earth is Daisie?" Anyway... making short a very exciting moment where all the YW found out what I was REALLY like, James said "That dog that you were trying to get!" So here is the story. Before we left on our trip, my mom's friend was trying to find a home for her little coton de tulear. (look it up! they are really cute. I'd never heard of this dog before I looked it up) My Mom called her friend on Tuesday and asked what she was going to do with the dog. Jana (my mom's friend) said that she had given the dog to the neighbor, who had a dog from the same litter. I don't know who was more disappointing, my mom or me. We were kinda sad. But we were glad that the dog was happy so we were happy for the dog. Last night as I was at YW, my mom got a call that things hadn't worked out with the neighbor. Daisie kept digging out of her yard and going to Jana's. So the neighbor decided to give her up. So we now have a itty bitty dog that is a friend to Sophie now! Gaby is going to take pictures tonight, so I'll put pictures up of the two of them. Sophie is huge while Daisie is super small. It's funny when they are together because Sophie is so HUGE, while Daisie is so small. It's cute. Erica, she is smaller than Churo, and Kimberly, you will get to see my doggies! My mother is telling me to get off now. :)

first date

Well, I did it. I went out on a group date. It was really fun! the "couples" were Alyvia and Alex, Andrea and AJ, and Me and Josh. But it wasn't really "couples" because we did pretty much everything together. It wasn't awkward or "stay with your date" we all just hung out. But it was cool to hang out with boys. Talking to them is a skill I need to develop and learn. You are probably wondering what we did. We went to the Cougar Lane park and had a picnic, then we played all sorts of games: different kinds of tag, we made sand box tunnels, we played duck duck goose in the sand which made for much falling down. And in that game Alex became protective of his spot, so if you "goosed" him (so to speak) then you had better first back up to avoid his hand swiping back and then run for you life. =P it was pretty funny! Then we came home and watched "How to Train you Dragon". Did you see that one before you left? It's a good one! And Josh hadn't seen it!!!!!!! And because we didn't know that, we accidentally ruined the ending...oops. :/ I am really thankful to Alyvia for setting it all up and helping me have a great first date!

COMPLETE AND TOTAL IDAHO UPDATE!

Okay.  So for those of you who don't know, I am in Idaho, as Matt and my parents went to Hawaii.
AND I AM NOW SIXTEEN!!!!!!!!!WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that that's out of the way, MAN, we've done so much in Idaho.
On my birthday, grandma treated me to a pedicure, and now my nails are smothered with the kind of polish that never comes off (like, if a H-Bomb dropped on our house, there would be nothing left but my toenails, that's how strong it is).  That was a lot of fun, and then we went ICE SKATING!  Most of my siblings had never been before, but we had tons of great times.  Everything was going great, but Grandma finally pulled everyone off the ice (there was hardly anybody there, seeing as Boise kids aren't out of school yet), and gave me five minutes just to skate by myself.  Naturally, I went as fast as I could possibly go, tried a few fancy things, and probably just looked really stupid, but was having fun, when it was time for me to get off.  I thought I'd end with a bang, so I got up to full speed, trying to savor the wind in my hair while I could, and the pick of my skate dug into the ice.  I swear, everything went in slow motion.  There was a lady there with her two kids, and they turned around all dramatically and their eyes got really big and the little boys scattered so I wouldn't hit them.  I got about two seconds of air, then slammed on the ice on both knees, although the left one got the brunt, and ended up flat, sliding across the rink on my back.  The lady was pretty freaked out, and was yelling, "YOU OKAY?!" But, had the wind not been totally knocked out of me, I would have been laughing too hard to hear her.  I honestly didn't feel much pain, and was just wheezing at how amazingly awesome my blowout had been.  I doubt any crash shall ever compare with it.  So I got off the ice and kinda limped over to the stands to make sure nothing was broken (by this time, the pain had kinda started to make itself present, but it wasn't too bad).  I yanked up my pant leg and the lady passed at that exact moment.  She took one look at the enormous lump on my leg, the scars, and the huge blossoming bruise on my knee and said, "WHOA are you all right?" I tried not to laugh, cuz she looked pretty freaked out, and told her that only the bruise was new.  But MAN that thing has gotten big and ugly over the last couple days.  Tianna, I have a bruise to match your legendary ones.  However, it was AMAZING to get back on the ice, and what better way to end such a trip than with a good old-fashioned wipeout to give you some impressive battle scars?
Anywho, the next day we watched Soulsurfer (one of my new all-time favorite movies) and Abbey nearly cried (NEARLY.  I'm not quite that big a wuss.)  and went to the library.  I was pretty much completely in heaven.  They had an entire BOOKCASE full of astronomy and physics (no astrophysics, but the two put together count) books.  I got two of them and have been boring Faith to tears by the fascinating tidbits inside.
Today, we kinda just hung out.  We had a fake funeral for each of my little siblings except Faith, pulling their sad bodies around in a little red wagon outside and weeping and wailing behind the funeral train.  I'm sure the neighbors thought we were crazy, but honestly, we are and so is everybody else, they're just too chicken to admit it sometimes.  Me, I believe in putting my true self forward.  If I'm gonna be myself, might as well have fun doing it, and pretending to die and suddenly come back to life, chasing my siblings around the park behind my grandparents house, is a heck of a lot of fun.
It doesn't quite feel like summer yet because I'm not at home, not with friends, and not writing songs (actually that's a lie.  I've recoreded two improvs so far on my Grandma's piano, but I meant guitar songs, which usually mark the beginning of summer) and haven't gone rollerblading.
Anyway, sorry for the novel.  Bottom line:
I MISS YOU GUYS!!!  EMAIL ME!!!  HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING?!?!?!  LOVE YA!!!

swimming

Dear everyone,

I went swimming today and it was awesome! I also toasted a marshmallow while making a grill cheese sandwich. yum. I'm tired with a sore knee. I bumped it while escaping the evil grasp of my "captor" who gave me chocolate and texted Abbey. Pretty much an awesome day.

love,
Tianna

Stuffy Stuffy Stuffy Stuff

Hey ya'll. I'm sad that I won't get to see all of your smiling (sometimes not smiling) faces. :) I have really enjoyed getting to know you this school year. BUT this must NOT be the end of our friendship! We must have (or more!) frequent visits one with each other. We must have a day where Abbey and I can come to Paradigm and be shadows. We will have so much fun! We need to get together after I get home and before Erica starts her bear lake thingy. It will be a birthday celebration for Kimberly, Abbey, Tianna, Erica and I, since we have not had an official party for everyone. Love you all!!!
Love,
Leigh

The end of the beginning

And so it is that we end another year of high school, each going our separate ways. Some are off to other schools, while others are anxiously awaiting the time when they may return to those familiar halls. There are friends who are graduating and mentors who are leaving. And yet, we all may part, knowing in our hearts that we will see each other again. There shall be laughter under the hot summer sun and peaceful quietus in the winter. All is not forever, for indeed, with those tools duly named "social media" we have the miraculous ability to bridge the gaps of distance and time with friendly companionship. And so, my dearest friends, weep not as we part, for all is not ended, but rather, it is newly beginning.

Feast and Ball!

FEAST AND BALL WAS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!
We had the epicest, grandest time.  Tianna came over for the night, and we plotted evilly for the following day, which included lots of cleaning, and then going to buy tiaras from Claire's.  Then Kimberly came over and we did a sort of chain-of-the-doing-of-the-hair.
PS Kim, you must post pictures because I very lamely forgot my camera.  Ppht.
Kim had a gorgeous, sparkly hot pink dress, Tianna had an awesome possum, light pink dress with a jewelly dealie thing on one of the sleeves, and I had a black dress with a red jacket and sash.  See upcoming pictures for details, released to you soon from our very own Kimberly DeWeese.
When we got there, I must admit that everybody was GOOOOORGEOUSSSS!!!!!!  The main function of dinner was spent googling around at everybody in all their princessiness, and also involved me pretending to dump lemonade on Alyvia's head, and threaten Kimberly with death.  Ahem.  Yeeeeeaaaah.  Sorry, Kim.  The breadsticks did something to me.
After that, we went to the gardens, which contained just about every color of bloom imaginable, along with about ten million others.  There were beautiful fountains and statues, and trellises, and a secret part of the garden that went under a wicker tunnel, through some awesome, fairy-tale-kind-of-coolness doors, and opened onto a lovely, quiet part of the garden (the aforementioned quietness, of course, being completely bamboozled by the entrance of Codie, Kim, Forrest, Sarah, Sam, Tazia, Tianna, and myself).  There was this awesome waterfall with a bridge going over it so you could look out, and a little stream winding its way through the garden in general.  MAN it was cool.  Needless to say, many of us took off our shoes and rarely stuck to the paved path, wandering off into the grass (and may I just say that the grass was a quality green and exceedingly soft)
The dance itself was indeed quite fun.  Those of us who had no date friendily stole other peoples or danced with stag guys.  We collapsed pretty thuroughly about halfway through, but got up again, and now have about ten million blisters all over our feet.  :)  Anywho, it was lots of fun.

Stuff

Anybody read any Andrew Clements books? They are actually really good. He has some kids books as well as some teen books. I just finished one of his teen books. It was good. :) When do we find out who is going to become the new SBO? Monday?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M WRITTING THE MOST TERRIBLE, WONDERFUL, AWEFULL, AMAZING SCENE EVER!!!!!!!! It even rivals "The death of Mell" (or at least it's going to, once I actually write it...hehe) I LOVE DEATH!!!!!!! (the people, not the thing. Just thought I'd clarify.)

STUFF!!

OK!!! Random splurge of ten million things!
First of all, we are almost done with my dress, and I am SOOO excited to show you!!!  It is black and velvet red.  (And NO they are NOT Twilight colors)
Second of all, TWELVE DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL!  Stress, excitement, and sadness.
Third of all, PARADIGM'S GETTING A NEW SEMINARY BUILDING and I won't be here for it.  Meh.
Fourth of all, FEAST AND BALL'S ON SATURDAY!!!!
Fifth of all, there is a wierd lump on my shin bone that is rather worrying my mother.  I shall keep you posted.  :)  PS don't worry too much about it, it's probably nothing too bad.
LOVE YA!!
Oh yeah.  Sixth of all, I am officially on the 111th page of my book.  Just thought you should all know.  :)

Party at my house with potatoes!

I just had an awesome sleepover with Abbey! We Dutch Ovened lasagna and potatoes w/ bacon!! YUmmILisIOUs!! We also wrote an awesome song for EFY spoofing "Kiss the Girl" from Little Mermaid.
Funny thing is--this was completely spontaneous! Abbey was walking with me out to my car and my madre asked if Abbey was coming with us because we could bring her back to be picked up because my mom was coming back to see Alyvia and the play. Somehow it ended up that she slept over and we cooked and sang and watch Les Miserables in concert 25th anniversary (Me:) "wait for it...it gets better!" (Abbey:) "How could it possibly get better??!!!?!" ***scream*** (cuz it got better!!)
Awesome fun stuff...We've got to have some adventures this summer, people! Party at my house with potatoes! =P

Sooo......about Feast and Ball.....

I am wondering who is going. does anyone have plans for that day? Oh!!! and are not you all SO happy that they lowered the price?!?!!!!!! YAY!!!!! Aaah!!! I just realized, it's in NINE DAYS!!!! and I still haven't asked anyone!!!!! *officially freaking out*

Quote of the Day!!!!

Ok, so I haven't been able to figure out how to make it work for other people to edit that, but if you just email me your quote of the day, everybody, then I can put it on, at least until I figure out how to let you do it yourselves :)  And actually, Kim, I think the day of the dead is later in the summer.  Cinco de Mayo is just welcoming in the warmer seasons, I think.  Although I am probably wrong.  Hold on, let me check.  Ok, I was wrong.  Heh.  Heh.
So, actually, it's the day that the Mexicans celebrate their heritage and freedom.  It's not like their Independence Day or anything, but it's just kinda a collaboration of celebrating a whole bunch of good things that have happened to them.  Plus I think they just wanted an excuse to party.  :)

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

by the way.....

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!!!!!! IT IS THE FIFTH DAY OF THE FIFTH MONTH!!!!! HAPPINESS ALL AROUND!!!!! (correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cinco de Mayo (however you spell it) the day of the dead?)

quote of the day????

how in the pineapple do I add my "quote of the day" to the side thingy over there -->??

I DROVE A CAR FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

Yup. I drove a car. Pretty exciting, even though the rest of you have already driven cars, but this was my first time. I drove in a random church parking lot. I thought I was gonna crash a million times, but I didn't. Ha. :) It wasn't even close to crashing, but I thought I was gonna crash anyway. I managed, on accident, to back up into a parking space perfectly. Now if I can only do it on purpose. Yeah. YAY!!!! POWER!!!

The End. :)

I'm freaking out!!!!

MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED IN TWO HOURS!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
(and yes, I am sitting at the computer doing this instead of getting ready...sigh)

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Hi!!!

I have NO idea what I'm going to do this summer. (sigh)

Autistic School!

Over Spring Break, I went to an autistic school with my six-year-old neighbor, Sam.  It was really neat to learn how to work with them and how they think.  You would think that perhaps autistic kids would be, if not easier to play with, then at least a little less energetic than other six-year-olds.  If you should think such a thing, you would be woefully wrong, as I discovered after about ten minutes of being played with, poked, laughed with, and tagged by.
THE KIDS HAVE AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF ENERGY, I TELL YOU!!! It would actually be a bit disconcerting had I not known Sam.  They never got tired, never slowed down, and never expected me to either.  Hence, when I collapsed during Music Time, I was pulled up again and danced with some more.  Finally, during Quiet Time, everybody slowed down a bit and I could once again breathe.
Anywho, Sam's mom says that ever since, he's been saying "A-e! Where A-e?" every day, which gives me much sparkle happiness.
I love kids with disabilities.

writing prompt!

I was looking through Google Images at doors and saw this one. I thought it had potential to start a writing prompt. How 'bout trying to write a little scene that has this door in it. I'll do it too, just not now. It's kind of late...oops.

Wall painting

I am painting my wall!!! I have only done one corner but I plan to do more. I did a treble clef between the two walls' corner, so the dimensions are really cool as it bends inwards. I want to do a horseshoe in another corner and other things that show what I love around the room. If you have any ideas for me let me know!!!

GENERAL CONFERENCE!!

Okay, so I know I already talked to you guys about this at lunch, but this kept coming to me AGAIN and AGAIN during Conference, what with the anniversary of the Church Welfare Program and such.  I reeeeally want to work on a bunch of these things.  Look at some of the adorable things they need at the Welfare System right now!  Google "Church Humanitarian" and the site'll come up.  Look at some of the awesome things.  The baby booties are soooo cute, and look super easy and fun to make!  Anywho, I must go now, but let's figure out a day when we could get together and make something or put together kits for the humanitarian site.
Love you all!

AdVeTurEs!

I am reading a book with my little sister and we are having a great time together! I have gotten back into reading and I'm back on adventures again! But, you know, life is an adventure, too! All of my adventures last different amounts of time, some years, some months, one big one of my whole life! There are also lots of little ones, too; school, piano, going on a quest with friends =)
So.............Go on adventures!

Let it Begin!!!!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR SUMMER!!!!!!

Although, you know, the weather seems to be teasing us.

I made a discovery yesterday. My neighborhood, as most of you know, is relatively new and therefore, seeing as it is in the hills of deserty Utah, has little to no trees. But yesterday, I discovered a forest. Of pine trees. In a remote location. Which also happens to be next to a very nice ranch whose owners are very nice. So guess where I will be spending most of my summer? :)

Anyway, what is everybody doing for the summer? We need to come up with another awesome Last Day of School Prank. On Codie again? Perhaps. Perhaps not. We must figure out these details. You know what? We should make this our Just Plain Friend blog, not just for over the summer. Because I don't really talk to Madeline or Leticia much anymore, and I have no classes except for choir with Tianna, and we're not allowed to talk in choir. Hmph. :)

Anywho, I've invited Kimberly, Leigh, and Erica to join us on this, our Friend Blog.

SMILE!! Frowning Kills the Goldfish.

Hiiiiii!

Okay, people!  Sorry I haven't posted/emailed anybody in a very long while.  Craziness has been my life lately.  However, the next time something cool happens, I shall post something worthwhile.
For now, the best I can do is say how much I miss you all, give you a huge air hug, and promise to write something of use the next time something eventful occurs.  <3

Horse riding!

I got to go horse riding today!!!! YAY! I am doing a trade with a lady I know, I muck stalls and in return I get to ride! I will be doing this twice a week, and I started today! The work part is pretty easy (though dusty!) and doesn't take to long. I rode today for about an hour, so I'm really sore! I also got to clean out Big B's (the horse's name is Buckleberry, so we call him Big B for short) hooves and put on all of his tack (saddle, bridle, etc)!! I worked on trotting and going over the "bridge" that is in the corral. He was a bit testy at times and would not listen to my commands, but I showed him I was the boss, and he was pretty good. It feels so great to be back up in the saddle!!! I love horses soooo much!!!!!

Frustration

This has definitely been the summer that I have learned the most. I wish I had known what I know now ten months ago. But I can't go back in time. So now I'll just have to be content with planning, planning, planning! I've never been so determined to do anything ever before. I only home that I can eradicate the sting of my mistakes. And my ignorance.

books!

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner an Eclipse novella

This is SUCH a good book I read! It is the story inside of the newborn army in eclipse! I love the writing style and the way the story played out. I was kind of sad that Bree has to die at the end (obviously) but she made it work pretty well! I hadn't heard of this book until my Aunt showed it to my sister and I. If you haven't read it and you like the Twilight series, you'd like it!!!!! GREAT book! Happiness!

Home Again

Well, I'm back now. I had a fabulous trip to South Carolina, visiting one of the best beaches in the country, getting tanner, partying, stuff like that! It was so nice getting to experience a different culture and explore some old history, I should do it more often.

Traveling has always been something I love to do, now I just love it even more!

By the way Utahans, I'm absolutely DYING for some juicy gossip to gnaw on! Especially about those I know. Got any for me? I would be much obliged.

Trek Walk/Swimming/Death

I am currently dead.  Just so you all know.  This is a ghost writing this.

Now then.  On Saturday, my youth group set out on our Qualifying Walk for Trek.  It wasn't so bad.  Our legs went numb after the first five miles.  Now, five miles is not actually all that much.  But it feels like a lot when you're out in the middle of the desert with the sun hammering down on your neck, the water gone from your bottle, and you have to go up and down numerous hills.  What's wierd is that the last five miles was way easier than the first ones.  My friend Makelle and I jogged down the hills at first because it felt easier.  Then we started jogging up them.  All was fine and dandy.

UNTIL I GOT HOME!!!!!  The whole ten miles (it was actually technically only about nine) caught up with my legs.  Owie.  Not fun.  But an episode of Wordgirl and the Gilmore Girls made me feel considerable better.

Today I went to the Lehi Legacy Center with my friend Mary Djurich (pronounced JUR-ITCH) and GUESS WHO WE RAN INTO IN THE LOCKER ROOM?!?!?!?  Whitney Bullock!  Wierd, eh?  Does anybody know where she lives?  Anyway, 'twas quite fun.

Horse Riding

Abbey and I went horse back riding today! We got to brush and groom them, put on tack, and ride!!!! We both agree that we belong with the horses. It was sooo much fun, and afterward we got to feed them peppermints!! It was an awesome-possum day! I love horses!!!!!!

South Carolina!

Well, it's finally time-I'm going to South Carolina! It's going to be over 90 degrees every day there, we're less than one hundred yards away from the beach and I get to go shopping! I'll be gone the 3rd through the 23rd, almost all of June.

This will be the first time that I've ever been on a plane, it should be fun. Except for the fact that we have to be at the airport by 4:30 and security is quite the experience I've heard. Our entire flight will be eight hours long... Not including the plane change in Dallas. I'm sure by the time we get to West Columbia we will all be very tired and ready for a nap.

I can't wait to taste how different the food is there, the whole south is like a different culture. We'll be staying at Myrtle Beach for most of the time, so close to the ocean. Later on we're going to head to some of the biggest theme parks in the world in neighboring states!

Wish me luck, I'll be back some day! Hopefully with an even tan!

Summer List

I have an assortment of things I am planning on doing over the summer, most of which involve taking over the world.

Here is my list, in order of most important to least important:

1) Write about ten gazillion songs for guitar and about five gazillion songs for piano.

2) Ignore the fact that all of my close friends live in Outer Darkness. (Don't ask)

3) Not die. (If you didn't know, this is referring to Trek)

4) Earn about 400 bucks, with which I will buy the moon.

5) Enjoy being 15, in which you have to watch all the >16 year olds have fun while you sit and twiddle your thumbs.

6) Memorize the book of Alma.

7) Make one new friend. Preferably a leprechaun. No experience required.

8) Organize a band of minions with which to storm the white house.

9) Read the Fablehaven books (yes, I know. It's a shocker.)

10) Give Matthew a successful piggy back ride.

11) Eat dirt.

12) Clean my room.

All of these, I have decided, are perfectly acheivable and will be carried out.

All except the last one.
(For those of you who don't know, this is not at all true.  I can hardly function in a messy room and most of the time, it is clean)

I made it!

Well, it took me long enough to get on here! Silly computer.

School is out!!! (I know, kind of a delayed reaction.) It didn't feel like it though until this morning... I am now a Junior baby! I'm a little excited if you couldn't tell. No more drama and pain for three whole months, no more worrying about grades, no more dealing with stupid boy... Yeah, I made it!

And to top this wonderfulness off, I'm packing for South Carolina, where I'm going to be all of June.

Birthday Haircut!

Heylo ladies!!!!! I donated my hair to Locks of Love today!

Before the cuttage:

During the cuttage:

After the cuttage:

It's really different, I know.

Homework oh Homework

I'm not sure who wrote this, but it plays out my feelings quite well at the moment as i work on my last biology project:

Homework oh homework
I hate you, you stink.
I wish i could wash
You away in the sink.

If only a bomb
Would blow you to bits,
Homework, oh homework
You're giving me fits!

I'd rather take baths
With a man-eating shark,
Or wrestle a lion
Alone in the dark.

Eat liver and spinach,
Pet ten porcupines
Than tackle the homework
My teacher assigns.

Homework oh homework
You're last on my list
I simply can't see
Why you even exist.

If you'd just disappear
It would tickle me pink!
Homework oh homework
I hate you, you stink!

Muahahahah!

Today (even though it's not technically summer yet) I am going to be doing my first post on Over the Summer. It is about...TORTURE!!!! Yes, you heard right.
After school, my friends Leticia, Madeline, and I ambushed our other friend Codie. He was peacefully walking down the outside stairs to leave, when Leticia and I jumped out in front of him, weilding unsheathed Sharpie markers! (Duhn Duhn DUUUUUHNN!) As he backed away in fright, we advanced, while Madeline came up behind him and dumped two bottles of water down his shirt! Oh yeah, baby!
We thought it was a victory, but as I reached out to stop his escape, he held me prisoner! (gasp, I know) He held me in front of him as a shield to ensure that he wouldn't get wet. Meanwhile, he was getting away. In a panic, Madeline yelled "DUCK!" to me, and while I did so, she sprayed him right in the face. He relinquished his hold on me, and Madeline threw me a water bottle. We proceeded to dump it out on him as he fled down the stairs.
As we all laughed our heads off (including him), he turned around and said, and I quote :
"You are going to get it!" Therefore, if this is my first and last blog post, you will all know for what cause I have been put to my untimely death.

It was the best last day of classes ever.

PS we would never have done it if Codie hadn't been the kind of person who can take a joke like this, just so you all know.
